Yajamahe Yoga is the methodical synthesis of styles of the most influential teachers of Yvonne Suzuki Licopoli (E-RYT 500). Yajamahe, the Sanskrit word for we worship, we adore or rejoice, describes Yvonne’s relationship with her personal yoga practice. Inspired by the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, the mantra most commonly chanted for emotional, physical, and spiritual healing, Yajamahe Yoga seeks to encourage students to discover their higher self and optimal health through the healing practice of Raja Yoga, also known as the eight limb path, outlined by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras approximately 2,000 years ago.
Yvonne had studied yoga extensively with world renowned teachers before meeting her guru Sri Dharma Mittra in 2007. Her training includes Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training with David Swenson, and 500 and 800 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with Dharma Mittra. She continues to study regularly with her mentor, Andrei Ram Om.
Yvonne is certified in Thai Yoga through Lotus Palm Institute in Montreal, and has been trained in Gong Yoga of Holistic Resonance by Grand Gong Master, Don Conreaux.
Yoga is a way of life. It is Yvonne’s belief that to achieve yoga, as with achieving success in anything, practice and self study must be an immutable priority.
