    In this state of calm we enter into the Yoga Nidra practice accompanied by the soothing, healing, and heart opening vibrations of crystal alchemy singing bowls. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation which moves your awareness deeply into your consciousness, to bring insight, clarity, and  peace.

    You will feel the peaceful energy of resonance as it permeates your body at a cellular level. This induces deep relaxation and harmonic entrainment which clears obstructions, elevates consciousness, and sets the foundation for healing and clarity to occur.

    Kirtan is the Bhakti practice of call and response singing of a mantra. As we chant the names of God we open our hearts, elevate our spirit and cultivate loving awareness.

    The goal of yoga sadhana is Self-realization, not being able to do a handstand or put your foot behind your head. While we will study and learn how to do and modify postures in both programs, we will also study advanced pranayama techniques, kriyas, and other yogic tools to cleanse the nadis and prepare for deeper levels of practice.

  • Yin Yoga Teacher Training

    Yin Yoga isn’t just about holding the posture for a long time. Instead of focusing on stretching the muscles, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue, making it a perfect companion practice to Hatha or Vinyasa Yoga.

    In this training you will learn

    • The history of Yin Yoga and the Taoist philosophy at its foundation.

    • The philosophy of Taoism intersects with Yoga philosophy.

    • The Chinese system of energy channels and their counterparts in yoga, namely the nadis or psychic channels of the subtle body.

    • Yin Postures, their variations and modifications.

    • How to use props in ways that can enhance the postures.

    • How to sequence a Yin Yoga class and how to create an environment for an optimal experience for your students.

  • Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

    Restorative Yoga is a form of yoga that focuses on deep relaxation and rejuvenation. It involves remaining in postures for extended periods with the support of props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to create comfort and ease. The intention is to invite opening and spaciousness in the physical body, bring balance and harmony to the energetic (subtle) body, and to pacify the nervous system.

    The benefits of Restorative Yoga include stress reduction, improved sleep, increased flexibility, improved circulation, and support for health, healing, and holistic wellbeing.

    All levels of yoga practitioners can benefit from Restorative Yoga, including beginners and those who enjoy a strong, vigorous asana practice.

    In this training you will learn:

    • The history of Restorative Yoga.

    • The benefits of Restorative Yoga for the body and mind.

    • Restorative Yoga postures and variations to suit individual student’s needs.

    • How to sequence a Restorative Yoga class.

    • How to teach a Restorative class, giving intentional cues to assist the student in entering a deeper relaxed state.

    • How to hold space for your students.
