Evening Reset: Yoga for the End of Your Workday

FREE EVENING YOGA CLASSES October 25 - 30

You gave your best hours to your work today. Now give the last hours to yourself.

The morning classes were never really yours. The alarm, the commute and the inbox got there first. Evening Reset is built for you: the one who sits at a desk, stands on a hospital floor, teaches a classroom or drives across town all day, and carries all of it home in the shoulders, the jaw and the restless mind.

Our evening classes are for you, so you can come straight from work. Bring your work clothes and change here. Mats and props are waiting for you. You do not need to go home first, and you do not need to be flexible, experienced or anything other than tired.

We begin by arriving. A few minutes of slow, steady breathing lets the day fall away and turns your attention inward (pratyahara, the drawing in of the senses). We then move through postures that open what a day of sitting and screens has closed: the chest, the hips, the back of the neck. We end with a long, unhurried savasana (final resting pose), so your nervous system can settle before you sleep.

You will leave lighter than you came. You will sleep more deeply. You will wake up ready for tomorrow.

Your first step: join us for a special Fall Into Ritual promotion to get you started with FREE classes October 25 - 30.

Meet Your Evening Teachers

Georges Katsaros teaches Gentle Vinyasa Yoga on Sundays at 4:30 PM and Mondays at 5:30 PM, and Yin Yoga on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM.

Gentle Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga are both perfect for beginners or experienced students who prefer a slower-paced practice. Gentle Vinyasa links breath and movement that warms stiff muscles and quiets a busy mind.

Yin Yoga is an even slower practice, with reclining and seated postures, supported and held to open up connective tissue and calm the nervous system.

Dov Vargas teaches Dharma Yoga & Dharma Wheel on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM.

Dharma Yoga is the class for you if you have some yoga experience. Dharma Yoga is a vinyasa practice which starts with sun salutations, followed by a series of standing, balancing, twisting, and chest opening postures held for several breaths.

The Dharma Wheel releases the tension that collects in your back, shoulders, and chest after hours on the job. You’ll leave standing taller, breathing deeper, and ready for your evening.

Angela Strynkowski offers a special 90 minute Restorative Yoga class on Friday, October 30 at 4:30 PM.

Restorative Yoga gives you permission to let go completely. Supported by bolsters and blankets, you rest in a few gentle postures held for five to ten minutes, while your nervous system shifts into deep repair. As you alllow yourself to relax, your body releases all tension.

No experience needed. You will leave calm, light and deeply rested. All levels welcome.
